He is the son of Akhenaten and Nefertiti. When king
Akhenaten died the Egyptians forgot the worship of Aten and preferred to
get back to their original worship of Amen. The young king changed his
name to Tutankhamen instead of Tutankhaten. He ruled at the age of 8 and
died around 17. The Egyptians couldn’t forget his relation with Akhenaten
so they erased his name from the official list. Snake was one of his
favorites and was the first thing her requested to be in his tomb.
Fertility and regeneration in land and in life are new ideas belonged to
him. The secret behind the wide reputation of this young pharaoh is that
his tomb in the valley of kings was not stolen or even opened for about
3300 years till it was found in 1922.
This beautiful hand-made Copper plat for the wall is made in
a way similar to the
way it was made in ancient time which makes it a perfect collectable or
gift.
